Brian’s Experience
Brian was the product promotion manager for Data I/O Corporation, the leading global provider of advanced data and security programming solutions. He designed and carried out product launches and was responsible for all the corporate PR work with investors and dozens of electronics trade journals. He later worked as a marketing consultant to Microsoft Corporation as part of the teams that launched multiple versions of Windows, NT, SQL Server, Exchange, and other keystone Microsoft products. He helped oversee the launch of Microsoft’s flagship product in China. As part of those launches, he helped develop both product- and company positioning, “Fit to Market” product assessment, sales and marketing strategies, and designed and conducted hundreds of customer focus groups and one-on-one interviews with senior IT officials at Fortune 500 companies.
Brian also worked for a number of venture capital firms in doing market analysis for existing and proposed products, made product-adaption recommendations, and served on the boards of several high-tech startups.
Louise’s Experience
Louise prepared the Ellsworth Air Force Base annual library programming Summary Report for submission to the Command librarian at Strategic Air Command. Her library won the Command Publicity award several times. She wrote up and publicized programs in the base newspaper. Library services and materials were also publicized. As Employee Suggestion Program manager at Sembach AFB in Germany, she publicized that program at Commander’s Calls, in base newspaper articles, and she traveled extensively around Germany to promote the program to AF personnel assigned to Army bases.
